In the past, when we talked about the use of products such as biostimulants, we only mentioned the significant increase in the profitability of producers. However, the needs of crops are now such that they require and fully justify their continuous use, in order to address situations such as:

The mismatch between commercial maturity and normal maturity of plants

The requirements for high post-harvest fruit quality

Sensitivity to climatic imbalances

Continuous soil stress

From these situations, the risk of the absence of critical factors for good crop performance is immediately apparent and the need for careful management of fertilization, combined with the protection of the natural fertility of the soils, arises. Also, in horticultural crops, the need to maintain high quality final fresh products is important, especially for approved organic farming crops.

Our experience

To address these critical situations, the solutions implemented by our exclusive collaborator Cifo (a nutrition company since 1965, member of the ILSA Group, with a presence in at least 50 countries), provide for the use of special nutrition products – biostimulants, which are applied in different phases and seasons and operate in a complementary manner, utilizing the action of humic and fulvic acids, amino acids of natural origin, microorganisms and bioactive substances contained in the algae Macrocystis integrifolia.

Enhancing soil fertility

The polysaccharides, plant-based amino acids and potassium contained in Supernat 93 have a positive effect on soil fertility and stimulate the activity of its microorganisms and more! It promotes the uptake of nutrients by the roots (macronutrients and micronutrients), improving the efficiency of fertilizers and revitalizing poor soils while enhancing vegetative growth, for higher yields.

Also suitable for organic crops.

Biostimulants with an effect on the rhizosphere

To address the phenomenon of soil stress and the development of a strong root system, Betalga, a biostimulant with amino acids and extracts from the algae Ascophyllum nodosum, Macrocystis intergrifolia and Sargassum, was developed. It favors the mutually beneficial relationship between plants and beneficial soil microorganisms, promoting the development of a strong root system.

It also promotes seed germination (by soaking before sowing), reduces transplanting stress and enhances the balanced subsequent growth of plants.

Avoid the dangers of abiotic stress

Macys BC 28 is a powerful biostimulant that can also be used in organic farming and consists of 100% concentrated Macrocystis integrifolia algae extract, capable of positively influencing the physiology of the plant and preparing the ground to overcome all stressful situations, thanks to the unaltered presence of the numerous natural active substances contained in the algae themselves.

Maintain the quality and shelf life of products after harvest

It is very important to ensure the consistency of the fruit to increase its shelf life and avoid cracks that can cause the loss of juices and the establishment of pathogenic microorganisms. Calcisan Green was created for this purpose. A special biostimulant that contains calcium, magnesium and Macrocystis integrifolia algae and allows the maximum transfer of calcium concentration to the plant tissues.

The use of the product has been shown to favor the elasticity of cell membranes and thus reduce the damage caused by the tearing of the skin even in sensitive varieties.

Support the stages of maturation

Moving towards the final stages of cultivation, it is easy to run the risk of over-ripening by waiting for the fruit to fully ripen, with the consequent losses.

The solution we propose in this case is Ener 26 and Cet 46 Green, which will be combined in a single application to intensify and give uniform color to the fruits, while simultaneously increasing the Brix degree.

Ener 26 is a preparation, suitable for use in organic agriculture, based on amino acids and at the same time enriched with macro and trace elements, for the immediate supply of metabolic energy to the plant, in particular, it positively affects the metabolism of sugars and the shift of photosynthetic substances (sugars, amino acids, mineral salts, etc.) to the fruits.

Its use in combination with Cet 46 Green allows the support of plant metabolism precisely at the phase when energy demand reaches its peak, for uniform ripening, achieving the improvement of all quality parameters.

For the normal and proper development of plants, there are 17 chemical elements that are considered essential and are also called nutrients.

In the absence of these elements, normal plant development is not possible and the plant is unable to complete its life cycle. The absence of a single element leads to deficiency symptoms that can only be treated by it, i.e. the element in question cannot be replaced by another element. The function of the element in plant metabolism must be known. That is, we must know exactly what processes it participates in and in which phase of development. Its action should be directly on the plant and not through secondary processes in the soil/substrate.

Below we will refer to one of these elements, calcium (Ca). Calcium is a fundamental element for vegetative growth.

The functions it participates in the plant are many and are mainly associated with the mechanical resistance of plant tissues, as:

It exerts a supporting and reinforcing action on the lamellae of cell membranes.

It acts as an enzymatic activator, as a regulator of carbohydrate translocation and compensation

It balances the absorption of other cations such as potassium, magnesium, ammonium and sodium.

In plants, it accumulates and is stored in cell vacuoles in the form of oxalates, carbonates, phosphates and phytin (the latter is found only in seeds). In cultivated soils, calcium is mainly found in the form of carbonates (especially in calcareous soils), or in the form of sulfates in calcareous soils.

Its content is very variable: it is found in abundance in calcareous and calcareous soils, on the contrary, lower concentrations are found in acidic soils and in soils subject to intense runoff. In general, an average value of calcium in the soil ranges from 0.1 to 0.5%.

This element plays a fundamental role in the thickening and robustness of cell walls, thus influencing the consistency and crispness of fruits and vegetables: it is obvious how much proper nutrition significantly affects both productivity and the shelf life of fruits after harvest.

Its presence allows the acquisition of fruits that meet the requirements of consumers and large retail-wholesale buyers: fruits of large caliber, beautiful shape and intense color, excellent consistency.

Calcium deficiencies in plants

But how and when is calcium absorbed by plants? The moment of greatest calcium absorption is when the plant organs are in active transpiration, but only during the first phases of their development (shoots, young leaves, fruits), where they have intense stomatal activity.

Calcium deficiency in plants is characterized by the appearance of mechanical problems in the tissues, i.e. greater cellular fragility, greater predisposition to damage/breakage at the level of the stem, but mainly of the fruit: drying or twisting of leaves, yellow-brown areas between the veins of the leaves, dry rot (plug) on the lower part of tomatoes and peppers, drying of the spine of the vine, bitter spotting of the apple tree, cracking of the skin of pear and cherry trees: these are just some of the physiopathologies that plants can face if they are subjected to this deficiency during the critical period of their development.

Solutions for preventing and treating calcium deficiency in plants

To overcome these problems, Agroza, in collaboration with Cifo, has invested heavily in research and development and offers us various calcium-based products capable of satisfying any need.

Calcisan Green (calcium and magnesium with Macrocystis integrifolia)

It is CIFO’s revolutionary innovation in the field of foliar nutrition, created precisely to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the calcium and magnesium complex in leaves and fruits. It acts on two different levels: the first is the contribution of calcium and magnesium, the second is their absorption and translocation with a parallel protective action, which is due to the pure Macrocystis integrifolia extract it contains. The preparation is designed for foliar applications, enhancing the effect of absorption and translocation of calcium and magnesium to the right places.

Calcisan (calcium and magnesium with L-amino acids)

It is able to effectively solve the problems related to the high salinity of soils. Calcium and magnesium replace sodium in colloids (humic-clay), favoring their leaching and therefore their removal from the rhizosphere. It contains a calcium and magnesium complex which is produced through an innovative industrial process that makes it even more effective and durable. It is also rich in peptides, polypeptides and free L-amino acids that are easily assimilated at the root level and are translocated to the developing organs. This makes it possible to obtain excellent fruits, with a longer shelf life and resistance to post-harvest handling.

Ideal for fertigation applications.

Calcium Fast (30% calcium chelate)

It is a liquid preparation based on calcium in chelated form, characterized by high absorption capacity for maximum effectiveness in treating physiopathologies caused by calcium deficiency as well as in increasing the consistency and shelf life of fruits and vegetables post-harvest.

Ideal for foliar applications.

Neobit (calcium with boron)

With a high calcium content and a contribution from boron, it is ideal for pome fruits and allows the obtaining of high quality fruits and vegetables.

Ideal for foliar applications.

How can CIFO help with its products so that the vines have the desired BRIX degrees in the wine produced?

What are BRIX degrees?

Brix degrees are a measure of sugar content. The Brix method is used worldwide to determine the ripeness of grapes, the potential alcohol content for wine varieties and the sugar content.

How can we increase BRIX degrees?

We can increase Brix degrees, polyphenol content and color intensity in red wines with the products Cet 46 Green, Ener 26 and Biolight used during the grape ripening phase.

During this phase, plants undergo complex physiological processes, which are influenced by specific environmental conditions such as soil and climate and therefore it is necessary to take care of every aspect that could affect the final result.

To obtain the best quality, both in the cellar and in the bottle, it is necessary to start from the field by controlling the specific nutrition of the plants, following correct manipulations that allow the acquisition of the desired sensory characteristics and avoiding the use of sulfur compounds or other additives.

To avoid stress phenomena or nutritional deficiencies that may affect the final quality of the grapes and must, it is important to ensure adequate nutrition, through the application of three products that are applied foliarly: Biolight, Cet 46 Green and Ener 26. These products act synergistically and have the great advantage of completing the correct nutrition of the vineyard through an innovative mechanism of action that acts on multiple agronomic objectives.

Specifically, they act for:

Ripe uniformity

Improvement in the normal ripening of the flesh and seeds of grapes

Better composition of the phenolic profile of the musts, with positive effects on tonicity and color indicators.

Biolight is an amino acid complex, with magnesium and chelated trace elements formulated in a water-soluble powder that is indicated for the improvement of quality characteristics and can be used in reduced doses through foliar applications. Amino acids such as arginine, alanine and leucine favor the synthesis of precursors responsible for the taste and aromas that are characteristic of the cultivated vine, proline and glycine exert an anti-stress effect, while phenylalanine completes the complex mechanism of action by supporting the synthesis of anthocyanins, responsible for the color of the skin. Dose 400 g/10 acres, 1 application.

Cet 46 Green, an organic specialty product, contains amino acids and micronutrients, specially designed to improve fruit ripening processes, is applied in the final stages of cultivation and allows the improvement of the physiological processes involved in the biosynthesis of ethylene and pigments responsible for fruit coloration. The micronutrients present in its composition act as catalysts for the metabolism of sugars and fatty acids. It also allows the improvement of the quality profile of the final product during harvest, through a higher content of polyphenols and a higher content of sugars in the must. Dose 2 L/10 acres, 2 applications.

Ener 26, consists of amino acids and in synergy with the potassium, sulfur, magnesium, calcium and other elements in chelated form that it contains, favors the development of ripening fruits, allows for better sugar transfer to the fruits and determines the improvement of the color of the grapes and the aromas of the musts. Dose 4 kg / 10 acres, 2 applications.

Good luck!

Agroza (Cifo) olive tree nutrition program provides a balanced nutrient mix for maximum production in the olive grove and the best oil yield at the time of harvest.

It is now an established fact that, when it comes to olive growing, there are two particular characteristics of Greek production in the world:

the absolute quality of domestic olive oil and therefore of extra virgin, as well as its exceptional varieties, with unique morphological, physiological and agronomic characters.

The basic balance of the Greek olive growing system lies in the ability of farmers to combine aspects such as the needs of the soil, the typical processing tradition and the market-based techniques applied to ensure high and stable production.

The importance of managing agronomic objectives

Technical progress in this field increasingly highlights the need for the Greek farmer to guarantee control of those points that are critical for the quality of the oil, a control that must necessarily go through the correct management of the physiological and nutritional needs of the plant.

The next months will be decisive and decisive for the production of the harvest, which is why it is necessary to start implementing targeted plans now and set very clear objectives: one of the agronomic objectives for the next months is that concerning the “filling” of the fruits (flesh development), a factor that directly affects the next fertilization phase.

Today, we know that during this phase, palmitic and stearic acid give way to oleic and linoleic acid, which determine the increase in fatty acid content, to support the growth of all small fruits, preventing stress and fruit drop.

Algae and amino acids, essential allies

To support the yields and quality of olive oil, Cifo exploits the beneficial properties of algae and amino acids through the use of two specific nutritional products:

Macys BC 28, a pure concentrate of Macrocystis Integrifolia algae, recognized as a biostimulant, which can also be used in organic farming, very rich in biologically active substances such as vitamins, amino acids, laminins, alginates and natural hormones. Substances useful for plants, to increase production levels and resistance to environmental stress.

The use of Macys BC 28 allows the physiological and metabolic functions of plants to be intensified during the sensitive phases of fruit setting and “filling” of the fruit.

Sinergon Plus, a biostimulant for foliar use, thanks to the special relationship between free amino acids, in particular between glycine and proline and hydroxyproline, performs a powerful activating action on plant physiology, contributing, in synergy with Macys BC 28, to improving the vegetative-reproductive balance of the plant, to enhancing fruit setting and “filling” of the fruits.

Different solutions for different needs

To combine high productivity with excellent organoleptic characteristics, it is very important to complete the nutrition process, providing nitrogen, potassium and trace elements that are immediately assimilable, which is why it is important to use Floral K. It is characterized by rapid and complete dissolution and low salinity.

Dosages and applications:

Macys BC 28: 1.5 L/10 acre, 2 foliar applications, after fruit set and during fruit growth
Sinergon Plus: 2.5 L/10 acre, 1 foliar application, after flowering
Floral K: 2.5 L/tn, 1-2 foliar applications, after the start of color change

Climate challenges and uncertain harvests

The adverse effects of climate change, which often causes early frosts, are now evident in our country, with increasingly variable weather patterns.

This year, we have seen changing weather conditions that have affected crops.

Sudden temperature changes and unpredictable weather conditions have created stress in plants, affecting the quality and quantity of production.

A unique biostimulant of its kind!

In unstable climatic environments, the use of biostimulants becomes essential to help plants maintain their physiological balance.

To support crops during the winter season, the ideal solution is Macys BC 28: a pure concentrate of Macrocystis integrifolia algae.

A unique species cultivated in British Columbia (Canada) and harvested using a low-temperature mechanical process, maintaining the concentration of its biologically active substances.

Unlike other algae, Macrocystis integrifolia grows in highly stressful conditions in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, making it rich in vitamins, amino acids, laminarins, alginates and natural hormones, useful for increasing productivity and resistance to difficult environmental conditions.

Cifo’s approach against early frosts.

Macys BC 28, thanks to its variety of biologically active substances, enhances the physiological and metabolic functions of the plant, increasing its resistance to environmental and physiological stress, such as cold, water stress and nutritional imbalances.

Macys BC 28 and Ener 26

To avoid frost damage, a program of repeated interventions is recommended, supporting the plant in the most sensitive periods.

During the early stages of shoot development, Macys BC 28 can be administered in combination with Ener 26, a special fertilizer that can also be used with foliar applications and in organic farming.

Its composition provides potassium, sulfur and trace elements useful for maintaining the osmotic balance in plant cells and lowering the freezing point, preventing damage to cell membranes.

The synergistic action of both products increases the plant’s resistance to sudden drops in temperature and reactivates the physiological and biochemical response processes after frost episodes, helping the plant to quickly recover its optimal vegetative-productive development.

Both products are applied at the following doses.

The management of equipment cleaning operations, and in particular sprayers, is a subject that is often overlooked, although in reality it is a fundamental function for two main reasons: first of all, maintaining work equipment in good condition allows it to be maintained as well as possible over time and in the best conditions.

Secondly, coupled with this practice, there is the problem of environmental pollution: this is the contamination by plant protection products used on a limited surface of land, which is systematically repeated over time.

SUCCESSFUL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION FROM ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

The operations that can increase the risk of this contamination are during the filling and cleaning phase of the sprayer, as well as the management of waste/residues from the treatment itself. As already mentioned, it is strongly recommended to thoroughly clean the sprayers each time the treatment is completed/interrupted, in order to maintain the individual components, such as pipes, regulation systems, valves, nozzles, internal and external walls of the tanks, etc., in the best possible condition.

Therefore, proper maintenance of work equipment is a rule that falls within good agricultural practice. Moreover, in the case where the treatment with a specific type of plant protection product has been completed and the subsequent use of the equipment using another type of product is planned (e.g. first a herbicide and then a fungicide, etc.), it is very important to ensure adequate internal cleaning of the sprayer, so that no phenomena of physico-chemical incompatibility between them appear.

Similarly, the use of the sprayer in a crop different from the one that has already been carried out, e.g. the use of a selective herbicide for a specific crop does not necessarily mean that it will also be selective for another and if carried out without adequate cleaning of the equipment, it can cause dangerous phytotoxicity phenomena.

Finally, if the solution and the active ingredients in the sprayer are not sufficiently removed at the end of each application, clogging of the nozzles is caused due to the accumulation and drying of the solution used.

It is highly recommended to clean the sprayer in those areas of the land where there is no risk of surface and/or groundwater contamination, always taking into account that the sprayer cleaning process must never cause the maximum dose of the plant protection product permitted on the label to be exceeded. When it is not possible to rinse the equipment directly in the field, it is necessary to organize a specially equipped area for the correct execution of the cleaning. In order to avoid as much as possible localized pollution phenomena, it is necessary that the area where the equipment is washed is paved and possibly equipped with a system for collecting water contaminated with chemical products in a special tank, so that it can be disposed of in accordance with good agricultural practices and in accordance with current legislation.

THE SOLUTION FROM CIFO: TECNOSAN

Cifo, always on the side of farmers, offers a solution in this case: the Tecnosan product has been specially designed for use during washing and cleaning operations of the equipment used and is especially recommended for those machines whose cleaning is particularly difficult.

In particular, the Tecnosan formulation is able to carry out two activities that are both different and complementary against dirt. The product acts first by oxidizing organic molecules and then performs its cleaning action on the surfaces of the equipment. A simple rinse after washing is enough to eliminate all traces of the solution, thus allowing the equipment to be thoroughly cleaned and free from unwanted substances.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Put approximately 50 liters of water in the tank. It is recommended to use water that is not too cold. Add 200 mL of Tecnosan .

At this point, start the agitator so that the solution circulates through the pipes and the pump, until the inner walls of the tank are completely washed.

The water will turn red-violet if residues are found and will gradually turn brown. The change in color is due to the specific action of the product that has exhausted its cleaning function. Operate the sprayer to also clean the nozzles.

Then, rinse all the equipment thoroughly with clean water.

ADVANTAGES OF USING TECNOSAN

Less water waste

Less time for cleaning work

Safety of treatment after washing

In recent years, more and more growers have realized the importance of autumn fertilization in their orchard, vineyard or olive grove.

Where does this need come from? What are the significant benefits?

In fact, it has been proven, through analyses and scientific research, that the vegetative cycle of the plant does not end at the moment of harvest, but continues until the arrival of winter temperatures (below 10°C), just before winter dormancy.

Indeed, during this period of time, plants accumulate nutrients to be used the following spring during the vegetative growth phase.

More specifically, until the leaves completely fall, the plants absorb nutrients through intense root activity (fruit trees until the end of October and vines in November), which will constitute nutritional reserves for the next growing cycle.

To ensure good fruiting in the next growing year, the accumulation of sugars, amino acids and trace elements is very important, as a guarantee for good flower fertility. Another essential element is nitrogen, as from vegetative growth to flowering, the absorption of this element is moderate and the growth of shoots and flowering takes place at the expense of reserves. It is important to mention that the ideal period for carrying out autumn fertilization is between September and October, using fast-acting fertilizers.

The results that can be obtained from autumn fertilization (supported by many years of experiments) are a better vegetative-productive balance, increased flower fertility, increased production and finally a reduction in production rotation, a fundamental point – key to maintaining high profitability of orchards.

Another factor that should not be underestimated is temperature: temperatures in early autumn allow good absorption (the important thing is not to drop below 10-12 °C). The fertilization period can also vary depending on the crops and the region.

However, it is important not to confuse autumn fertilization with spring fertilization: they are complementary to each other, without one excluding the other. This must be taken into account in order not to exceed the doses of fertilizers provided annually.

Autumn fertilizers for use directly in the soil
TOP LINE

The recommended products are Top N 13-0-0 and Top 7-5-14: both of these products are part of a series with high nutritional efficiency and low environmental impact (suitable for use in organic farming as well).

The high nutritional efficiency is given by the differentiated release of nitrogen and other nutrients: the FCH (Fully Controlled Hydrolysis) technological process, on which the TOP series is based, contains organic carbon in a fully bioavailable form as well as the innovative APR (Rhizosphere Protein Activator) molecule. The product acts at soil level by activating the activity of microorganisms present in the soil and at root level, increasing the formation of active roots, improving the absorption of nutrients.

Autumn fertilizers for foliar applications
BORINC FAST

Provides crops with boron and zinc, two essential microelements for the development of flowers and fruits, for the metabolism of proteins, sugars and for the strengthening of plant tissues.
Post-harvest applications are recommended to increase the plant’s resistance to low winter temperatures and to ensure better vegetative growth the following spring.

FLORAL 20-20-20

Like all the preparations in the Floral Line series, it offers maximum efficiency in foliar nutrition and, in addition, the high purity of the nutrients it contains allows for quick and complete dissolution. Floral 20-20-20 allows the correct amount of fundamental nutrients to be administered to the plant, including microelements, to restore the natural nutrient reserve and for the plants to better cope with vegetative growth in the coming spring.

Why choose Agroza soft baits (pasta) for rodent control?

You can see the reasons below!

Result

The Agroza family of soft baits offer effectiveness. Violène Pasta® (bait size 20 g) and Manifesto Pasta® (bait size 10 or 20 g) are prepared with second-generation anticoagulants, Brodifacoum 0.005% and Difenacoum 0.005% respectively. Just one meal kills.

Reliability in applications

Agroza soft baits maintain their integrity in adverse conditions and especially in hot environments. You can even use them in horizontal baiting with wire, without “falling”.

Taste

They are very attractive and palatable to both rats and mice. Rodents are able to detect the special scents of our baits from a distance.

They do not create “bait phobia”

The lethal dose of baits can be consumed in one night’s feeding and the first dead rodents appear 4-5 days later. This delay is ideal, because rodents cannot perceive which food source was unsuitable.

So what are you waiting for to try them?

*Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before each use.

October is a crucial month for the course of most crops. In some cases it marks the start, while in others it corresponds to critical stages such as bud differentiation, fruiting or even post-harvest care. It is, therefore, a period that requires targeted nutritional interventions, in order to ensure smooth growth, quality production and the maximization of the value of the harvest.

Strawberry

The establishment of new strawberry plants is in the spotlight this season. Its success depends largely on proper soil preparation and strengthening of the root system. The application of Top N, a slow-release nitrogen preparation, is an excellent choice for basic fertilization, offering the plants a stable and prolonged supply. At the same time, Betalga, with its rich combination of algae extracts, spectacularly supports root development and contributes to a healthy and dynamic start to the crop.

Citrus fruits

During October, special emphasis is placed on Calcium adequacy, protection from abiotic stress and enhancing fruit color. The application of formulations such as Calcium Fast, Calcisan, Calcisan Green and Neobit ensures effective coverage of Calcium needs, preventing apparent quality problems. At the same time, the use of Macys BC, a formulation with an extract of Macrocystis integrifolia, enhances the plant’s natural defense mechanisms against stress. Fruit color is substantially improved with the parallel use of Potassio 30, Floral K, CIFO KS 64 or the specialized CET 46 Green, which impart an intense and uniform color, enhancing the taste and commercial value of the fruit.

Cherry

In cherry, this period focuses on post-harvest nutrition, as the trees prepare for the following year. The application of Zinc Fast contributes to enhancing the differentiation of buds by providing Zinc, while the combination with Mikrom Borinc, which contains Boron and Zinc, further strengthens the nutrition of the plant. In addition, the use of potassium and phosphate preparations such as Floral K, Potassio 30, CIFO KS 64, Floral P and Foxter 520, completes the nutrition of the crop before entering dormancy.

Pomegranate

For pomegranate , October is crucial for strengthening the fruit with Calcium, especially in cases where applications have not been made in September. Formulations such as Calcisan, Calcisan Green, Calcium Fast and Neobit effectively cover the needs of the trees, preventing the Bitter Pit phenomenon. In red varieties, the use of CET 46 Green contributes significantly to strengthening the coloring, providing uniformity and intensity, elements that increase the commercial value of the fruit.

Olive

The olive tree enters the coloring stage, which imposes increased needs for Potassium. The application of the preparations Floral K, Potassio 30 and CIFO KS 64 is of crucial importance, especially in dry olive groves. At the same time, the use of Macys BC 28, rich in natural algae extracts, offers an anti-stress effect and enhances the resistance of the plants. In terms of plant protection, the appearance of gliospores after the first rains requires immediate prevention with the help of copper preparations such as Blok 5 and Sinergon Cu. Finally, in edible varieties, the application of CET 46 Green significantly improves the coloring, enhancing the commercial appeal of the fruit.

Kiwi

As kiwifruits approach ripening, the main priority is to improve the quality characteristics of the fruit without reducing its firmness. The combined use of CET 46 Green and Biolight enhances the flavor and increases Brix°, ensuring high quality production. The application of Macys BC 28 offers valuable anti-stress action and enhances the natural defense of plants against pathogens.

Stone fruit

Although the differentiation of buds in stone fruits has started since the summer, this process is completed in the fall. The application of Zinc Fast provides Zinc, a crucial element for the correct differentiation, while the reinforcement with Mikrom Borinc or the combination of Zinc Fast with Borfast, ensures the better movement of Zinc from the leaves to the buds, with the contribution of Boron.

Winter Grains

October marks the start of winter grain sowing. At this stage, adequate nitrogen is critical for good crop establishment, tillering and the formation of quality ears. Top N, with slow-release organic nitrogen, is an excellent choice for organic and conventional farming.

Leafy Vegetables

Leafy vegetables benefit significantly from foliar applications during this period. The application of Azomin, rich in organic matter, contributes to strengthening soil structure and improving nutrient uptake. To strengthen the leaf surface and activate photosynthetic activity, Sinergon 3000 offers impressive results.

Greenhouse Horticultural Products

In greenhouse crops that are either in the transplanting or fruit-setting phase, the choice of the appropriate formulations is crucial. Betalga ensures smooth establishment of the plants in the new environment, while formulations such as Plantonic, Sinergon 3000 and Cifalga offer support for fruit-setting and fruit development, both through root irrigation and foliar applications.

In conclusion:

October is an opportunity for interventions that will determine the success of the crop. Through targeted choices and the appropriate know-how, each producer can add value to their harvest and enhance the sustainability of the crop in a meaningful way.
